The ever prolific Japanese design collective NENDO, headed by Oki Sato will release their first collaboration for contemporary glass brand Glas Italia.

With the prototypes being exhibited as an art show at the esteemed Dilmos Gallery in central Milan during Salone del Mobile or Milan Design Week – the collections will showcase at the main exhibition grounds Rho Fiera.

The Mirror Glass Chair features progressively darker frosted gradations to emphasise the fusion of two functional elements Рa mirror and a chair Рas the name rightly suggests.

The chair can be used as a ledge for objects, and also as a seat, and will have both a hight and low seat version.

A  low table and shelf for Glas Italia, known for their superb technical manipulation of colour, cut and adhesion of sheet glass, demonstrates how the affect can be achieved by melting a layer of transparent coloured film onto the surface Рdelivering a gradient of blues.
