British designer Tom Dixon will host a fusion of design, cuisine and commerce at The Dock, Dixon’s HQ during the London Design Festival.

The canal-side Portobello Dock location, formerly home to Virgin records, now houses Studio Tom Dixon – encompassing the design studio, the shop, and recently, the restaurant Dock Kitchen.

Central to the Dixon ethos is the promotion of British design and manufacture, this year celebrating ‘the art of craft,’ with brand Tom Dixon set to unveil new lighting, furniture and accessories; showcased alongside the new Tom Dixon collaboration with Adidas, and the launch of the new book Dixonary.

Festivities will include pop-up handmade markets from online juggernaut ETSYa reprise of the TRUMPF  laser cut live manufacturing that debuted in Milan 2012 at MOST;  and  the London debut of the MOOOI Unexpected Pleasures installation – the latter a runway success during Milan Design Week last April.
