Melbourne lighting designer Christopher Boots unveiled his latest collection NEPENTHES  at the new FBC showroom during London Design Festival this week.

Polished solid brass links are juxtaposed by fluid glass vessels illuminated by an LED or Halogen light source – the mouth blown forms crafted by specialist glass artists, each piece being completely unique.

Named after the carnivorous plants of the same name, Nepenthes lighting installations are customisable by the user, either suspended as an elegant drop pendant, or strung in a more elaborate installation.

ORACLE previously unveiled as an incredible strand of seven luminaries for HERMES, at the boutiques flanking Madison Avenue in New York for the holidays November 2014 – January 2015. Christopher was invited to envision seven window installations, creating unique works for the luxury house.

Christopher Boots collection is handmade in Melbourne, Australia, and will exhibit next month at DOWNTOWN DUBAI during DUBAI DESIGN WEEK October 27-30.
