The_snap_assembly_design_Dulux_Australia_Interior_Gormans_2014_AW_Collection_credit-Mike-Baker_02Australian paint brand Dulux again team with fashion identities Romance Was Born and Gorman to create fresh seasonal colour palettes inspired by their latest collections, set to unveil at the Melbourne Fashion Festival.

“My obsession with colour is most easily explained by the fact that my favourite book is my textile Pantone swatch book. It’s a bit like a massive Dulux paint swatch chart really, one glorious endless rainbow. I’m big on colour in the home. It’s the layering and balancing of texture, print, colour and scale that gives me joy… I don’t do neutral very well,”

The 2014 collection Dream On by wacky duo Romance Was Born delivers pop inspired theatrics that takes cues from 1960’s marching girls and a ‘flower power’ inspired palette.

“We put a lot of thought into who we align ourselves with and in a time of growth for us, it’s great to be able to flex our creative muscle with a project such as this and look to new and exciting opportunities to move into other avenues of design,” said Plunkett.
