Renegade contemporary design brand Edra entered the Italian furniture arena 25 years ago in July 1987, a humble four piece collection designed by graduates of the esteemed Domus Academy in Milan.
Edra, the name derived from the greek word ‘exedra’ meaning a meeting place for philosophical discussion, is regarded as a vanguard in the contemporary¬†furniture¬†sector – imparting a design ethos that marries high technology with craftsmanship, staving to continuously experiment with new forms and materials.
To commemorate the 25 year milestone a stunning retrospective exhibition was held during the recent Salone del Mobile, in Milan last April, images of the installation are seen above.
