Luxury French brand LV / Foundation Louis Vuitton will unveil a new art foundation designed by award wining Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry – an 11,000 square metre structure housing eleven galleries, a 350 seat auditorium and numerous public spaces, with a terrace offering sweeping panoramic views over the Jardin d’Acclimitation, and across Paris,is  set  on 1 hectare of parkland.

Intended to support the arts, the galleries include permanent collections, along with curated galleries with a rotating exhibition schedule, the focus on 20th & 21st contemporary arts.

The floating cloud like structure is fabricated from over 3000 individual glass panels, and will be open to the public from October 27, 2014.

The philanthropic gesture made possible in collaboration with the Paris city council who granted a 55 year tenure for the arts pavilion in public gardens.
