ACMI_David-Rosetzky_Gaps_Courtesy-of-David-Rosetzky-and-Sutton-Gallery-Melbourne_300dpi-(4)The Australian Centre for Moving Image (ACMI) presents the world premier of a new work by acclaimed Melbourne video artist David Rosetzky on August 5.

Having previously exhibited extensively in Australia and internationally Rosetzky was co-commissioned by ACMI and Carriageworks to produce GAPS, an expression of Rosetzky’s ongoing exploration of the ‘gaps’ in ones own personal identity – told through dance, movement and speech.

Working on Gaps with such a talented and diverse group of artists enabled me to explore a range of different performative modes to present the idea of identity and self-other relations as an interplay of shifting subject positions.”

Free entry, August 5 – February 8, 2015, Melbourne
