Dutch artist Edwin Deen‘s practice explores the colour spectrum, creating a variation generated by a water sprinkler that can paint a room in rainbow-esque colours. The sprinkler uses water-based paint to leave stripes and streaks down the wall as the liquid accumulates.

The artist’s work, first shown in 2009, joins other explorations of the colour spectrum that include ink, paint & everyday consumer items such as Tic Tac’s!!
