Sam Heikkinen has been nominated as the HERMAN MILLER Then x Ten design competition winner, for his image of the Yves Behar designed SAYL chair.!
The poster will appear alongside Herman Miller archival artworks, along with 10 new commissions when the exhibition opens on August 14 at fortyfivedownstairs, Melbourne.
The THEN X TEN exhibition will celebrate the power of the poster, and in so doing continue Herman Miller’s distinct association with design history and art collaboration, visually capturing the essence of the brand in modern times.
Ten of the world’s leading image-makers have been commissioned to create unique Herman Miller posters, which will be exhibited alongside a special collection of posters from the past, curated by Herman Miller’s Creative Director, Steve Frykholm.
