Interior stylist come interdisciplinary creative Faye Toogood is showcasing several projects during this week’s London Design Festival.
’7 x 7′ at Seven Dials¬† // September 14 – October 4th
To celebrate the rich heritage within the historic parish of St Giles, Shaftesbury Seven Dials commissioned Toogood to participate as one of sevens designers to produce a project in association with design blog DEZEEN.
The site-specific installation ’7 x 7′ is exhibited in Monmouth Street, with 49 oversized work’s overcoats hanging high over the heads of those who pass by – each emblazoned with the name of a specific profession in recognition of the myriad of tradesmen and women who have forged their living by working in the area.
