Glass artist Tom Moore is regarded for his much-loved contemporary glass figurines. Recipient of one of Australia’s most coveted accolades in the art form the Tom Malone Prize, a new body of work unveils this week at Sydney’s Ray Hughes Gallery.

The Canberra-born artist innovates traditional glass-making to create his distinctive hybrid creatures, dreamscapes and dioramas, and from 19992013 held the chair as production manager at Jam Factory Craft and Design South Australia, where he’d previously trained in glass blowing after graduating Arts with Honours at Canberra School of Art.

Following a successful solo show las year at Melbourne’s Helen Gory Galerie, Moore showcases new works at Ray Hughes Sydney.
