Sydney’s Iain Dawson Gallery hosted a dinner inside the Oxford Street space, and guests were treated to a lively discussion lead by art expert and owner of his own fleet of galleries Michael Reid. Reid probed the work and processes of artist Mike Chavez, resulting in an entertaining rendition of Mike’s early career experience as an animator with Disney, through to the influence of his Philippine heritage on his work. The event co-hosted by Belle magazine’s editor Neale Whitaker and gallery owner Iain Dawson, was marked by the release of two limited edition works.
